federally protected Wild & Scenic Salmon River is
one of the Western United
States' premier Class 5 rafting trips. Beginning in the remote Marble & Salmon
mountains in Northern California the Salmon cascades down through a rugged granite canyon.
It's hard to truly take notice of the beautiful scenery of the Salmon in
the midst of the non-stop challenging whitewater rafting! The Salmon and
Scott Rivers are the two most difficult whitewater rafting trips that the
Adventure Center offers.
12 miles of non-stop action begin quickly after we launch the rafts.
Only 1/2 mile downstream from the put-in,
we encounter class 4 Bloomer Falls. Downstream from Bloomer are
miles of class 3 & 4 rapids. Lewis Falls, The Maze, and Airplane,
to name a few of them. Just when you think the whitewater can't get any
better, we encounter Cascade Falls, the first of the three class 5 rapids we'll conquer. The
next two larger class 5 rapids Last Chance & Freight Train are technical
and powerful enough to excite everyone.
Along with rafting
there are great hiking and mountain biking options available in the Salmon
and Marble Wilderness. These options are available on our multi day Cal Salmon
trips. We also offer a 3 day, 3 river," Whitewater
trip. Raft the Upper Klamath, Cal Salmon, and Scott Rivers . Experience some
of the best whitewater runs in the country. What more
could you ask for?
This package is
unlike any other. Three great

year after year. This allows us to run all our rivers
with returning professionals and it assures that all
of the procedures are run smoothly. We have a
guide named Jerry who has navigated these same rivers
for 25 years; that's the experience that other companies
talk of, but we let our faculty stand as the truth!
All guides are swift water certified, C.P.R and First
Aid certified, and undergo an intensive week long guide
camp on the powerful Class 5 Cal-Salmon and Scott rivers.
Our excellent employees are the reason we have repeat
